Theory and Practice of Socialism with Chinese characteristics

   Theory of Socialism with Chinese characteristic is scientific

socialism in contemporary China. Practice under its direction is the

most resplendent reality in the contemporary world. In recent 20

years, we have been always focusing on theory and practice of

socialism with Chinese characteristic and have shaped our own

features. We don’t simply study the theory of socialism with Chinese

characteristic itself. In our opinion, the relationship between scientific

socialism of Marxism and Deng Xiaoping’s socialism with Chinese

characteristics is like the relationship between headspring and branch.

That’s the difference between our counterparts and us. The second

feature is that we emphasize on comparing the differences between

Mao, Deng and Jiang. We investigate both the historical origins of

theory of socialism with Chinese Characteristics and the future of the

practice. The third feature is to deal with the relationship between

systematic theory studies and subject studies correctly.

   Since we began our

research very early, with

great and constant efforts

have we set up the only

provincial key subjects that can recruit undergraduates, graduates and

doctor candidates in China. We have qualified researchers and after

endless efforts, we have made notable progress. Developing and

strengthening the research has both theoretical and practical meaning.

It can not only help us make clear some issues about socialism but

also help us adhere to and develop Deng Xiaoping’s theory and

discuss the rules of the development of socialism with Chinese

characteristics as well.
